The British Film Institute was founded in 1933 and is a charity governed by a Royal Charter. Combining cultural, creative and industrial roles, the institute brings together the BFI National Archive and BFI Reuben Library, film distribution, exhibition and education at BFI Southbank and BFI IMAX, publishing, and festivals.
The BFI’s partnership with Jill Craigie: Film Pioneer includes the distribution/presentation of our film in conjunction with their season/dvd on Early Women Film-makers drawing on films from the BFI National Archive.
